Failure to Respire Leads FK UII to National Champion for PTBMMKI Cup 2021 Public Poster

SURAKARTA (fk.uii.ac.id) - Faculty of Medicine students Universitas Islam Indonesia (FK UII) continues to make achievements at the national level. In the final of the 2021 Indonesian Medical Student Medical Assistance Team Association (PTBMMKI) competition which took place online on July 24 2021 with TBM Vagus FK Sebelas Maret State University as host, the FK UII delegation consisting of Amany Taqiyyah Wardhani, Anindya Amanda Damayanti, Annisa Sugiyanti won the title of National Favorite Public Poster Champion after competing tightly with participants from Airlangga University, Gadjah Mada University, University of Indonesia, University of North Sumatra, Mulawarman University, Halu University Oleo, Al-Azhar University, and Nahdlatul Ulama University Surabaya in the final round.

On this occasion, the work presented by the FK UII delegation was entitled: "Dexterously Handle Respiratory Failure During a Pandemic". “The initial idea for making this work came from the fact that many lives have been lost because of people's fear of helping patients with respiratory failure during a pandemic. Therefore, we chose the theme of handling respiratory failure during a pandemic so that people know the correct and safe procedures, so we hope that there will be no more victims who go untreated," explained Anindya.
