Department of Neurology

Profile

The Department of Neurology was previously named the Department of Neurological Diseases, then in 2020 it changed to the Department of Neurology according to the collegium. This department is part of the clinical department in the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia. Learning in the field of Neurology is carried out in an integrated manner using the Problem Based Learning method and accompanied by Islamic da'wah. The Department of Neurology focuses on vascular (cerebrovascular) learning materials, pain, intra-cranial infections, brain tumors and trauma
The purpose of learning in the field of Neurology is to strengthen academic quality, critical thinking skills and student skills. This activity consists of expert lectures, tutorials, medical skills, while at the professional education stage it includes guidance on the preparation of young doctors, emergency guidance, Neurology examinations, UKMPPD guidance, supervision of learning in teaching hospitals.

    The target indicator for the quality of learning is in the form of a 100% passing grade

    Quality target indicators of service quality in the form of a satisfaction level of 85%

    The quality target indicator of facility quality is a satisfaction level of 85%

    This governance quality target indicator consists of the average lecturer performance score of 3,5 on a scale of 4

Excellence

The Department of Neurology has academic excellence and quality both at the undergraduate medical and professional education stages. The Department of Neurology conducts research in the field of Neurology and conducts collaborative research with partners, such as teaching hospitals, KBIH. To strengthen the scientific field, a Neurology seminar was held with speakers from the staff of the Department of Neurology FK UII, KTI mentoring, participating in and presenting scientific meeting activities, research in the field of Neurology and published in national meetings and journal publications. In addition, department staff are also active in the PERDOSSI professional organization.
