Profile

The Department of Forensic Medicine and Medicolegal (IKF) is a branch of the clinical department under the structure of the medical department. The scope of the IKF Department is the application of medical scientific knowledge in managing health problems at the individual, family, community and community levels, especially related to forensic and medicolegal aspects. The IKF Department is active in carrying out forensic and medicolegal education activities at the Bachelor of Medicine Education level and the Professional Education level.

The IKF Department has 3 educational staff, consisting of 3 people with Masters and Specialist education backgrounds 2 person, academic position 1 Associate Professor, 1 Expert Assistant, and 1 NJA, and has an interest in forensic identification, especially in forensic odontology, forensic anthropometry and fingerprints/dermatoglyphs. Whereas on the medicolegal side the focus is more on the quality of post mortem et repertum

    The quality target indicator of facility quality is a satisfaction level of 85%

    This governance quality target indicator consists of the average lecturer performance score of 3,5 on a scale of 4

Excellence

The IKF FK UII Department has 3 staff with Masters/S2 education, 1 Forensic Specialist and 1 still in Specialist education. All three are actively involved in activities both in terms of education and research in the environment Universitas Islam Indonesia, as well as various scientific and organizational activities in the forensic and medicolegal fields. In addition, the IKF Department of FK UII has a network with clinical teaching lecturers at teaching hospitals, namely Moewardi Hospital Solo and Bhayangkara Kalasan Hospital, Polda DIY, which is strengthened by regular meetings and research activities and joint publication. FKUII Forensic and Medicolegal staff are also active members of PDFI and young members of PDFI (Indonesian Forensic Doctors Association) who actively participate in activities at both the national and local levels of the DIY and Joglosemapur regional branches.
