Department of Health Sciences Ear Nose Throat Head Neck Surgery (IK. ENT-KL) FK UII is a clinical department that aims to support the vision, mission and goals of FK UII. Since its inception, the IK department. THT-KL FK UII continues to strive to develop a more structured curriculum in accordance with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method which is applied at the undergraduate education stage and continues at the professional stage with the assistance of clinical supervisors at the hospital. The curriculum was developed according to SNPDI with the integration of Islam and Hajj health. Learning media continues to be improvised and innovated to support a learning atmosphere that makes it easier for students to understand each existing module to fulfill learning outcomes through textbooks, teaching videos, and others.

Research activities continue to be carried out by involving various FK UII members, especially students. So that it will build collaboration to provide wider benefits. Various topics in the field of IK. ENT-TOS can continue to be developed as an ongoing study, such as the risk of noise on hearing loss, exposure to pollution on nose and throat health, the increasing incidence of nasopharyngeal malignancy at a young age, and many other topics. The above problems can also be developed as a community service activity, and Islamic da'wah such as ear cleaning social service and nose washing movement, noise counseling, counseling about ENT-KL health for haj / umrah pilgrims.

The IK.THT-KL Department of FK UII is also actively involved in publication activities in the form of seminars and workshops at home and abroad, and plays an active role in association professional organizations.
