FOSMA Facility to Bring Parents Closer
Kaliurang (14/11)- Meeting of Student Parents/Guardians Forum (FOSMA) is a routine activity of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia (FK UII) which aims to bring FK UII closer to parents of students, as well as to strengthen friendship with trustees and Academic Advisors (DPA) students.
This was conveyed by Dr. dr. Isnatin Miladiyah, M.Kes as the Dean of FK UII while delivering his remarks at the FOSMA event on Saturday, 17 Rabiul Akhir 1444 H / 12 November 2022 M at the KH Auditorium. Abdul Kahar Muzakir, UII Ulil Albab Mosque Complex, Jl. Kaliurang Km.14,5 Sleman, DIY, which was attended by the presenters, Vice Chancellor for Academic Development & Research, Prof. Dr. Jaka Nugraha, S.Sc., M.Sc., representative of student parents, Johan Arifin, SE, M.Sc., Ph.D. CFrA (Dean of FEB UII), and Head of FOSMA FK UII, dr. Ima Dewi Rosmawati, Sp THTBKL, M.Sc.
according to dr. Isnatin that through this forum, it is hoped that continued communication between students' parents and the faculty and DPA regarding the educational process of FK UII students can later run better and smoother. "Apart from that, parents of students can also understand the learning process that will be carried out by FK UII students until they graduate and the support system for this learning," said the Dean of FK UII, Dr. dr. Isnatin Miladiyah, M.Kes.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chancellor for Academic Development & Research at UII, Prof. Dr. Jaka Nugraha, S.Sc., M.Sc, expressed his congratulations on the acceptance of parents' sons and daughters (FOSMA) as new FK UII students, and conveyed the distribution of parents' origins consisting of, Aceh, Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, and Borneo. "On behalf of Universitas Islam Indonesia, I want to thank you infinitely to the mothers / fathers who have entrusted the education of their beloved daughters / sons to us. Also for your willingness to join FOSMA 2022. It is an honor and at the same time an honor, in the midst of your busy schedule, you still take the time to establish friendship and greet us,” said the Deputy Chancellor for Academic Development & Research UII.
Furthermore, as Chair of FOSMA FK UII, dr. Ima Dewi Rosmawati, Sp THTBKL, M.Sc. invites parents of new FK UII students to become FOSMA FK UII administrators. "We really hope that later after this meeting you will be willing to support our program of activities, and we also hope to be able to invite you parents/guardians of the class of 2022 students to be willing to join the management of the upcoming FOSMA," he said.
The activities of the 2022 FOSMA FK UII meeting began with the reading of the manuscript for the submission of new students to the Dean of FK UII by representatives of the parents of new students, after which the participants received material presentation on financing at FK UII by dr. Erlina Marfianti, M.Sc., Sp.PD, followed by material about the presentation of the student system at FK UII by the Secretary of Study Program, dr. Dwi Nur Ahsani, M.Sc, while for academic services by Ponimin, SE and presentation of material about FOSMA by dr. Ima Dewi Rosmawati, Sp THTBKL, M.Sc. (Wibowo)
