According to the doctoral lecturer in FK UII, there are still many students who are confused about what research to do, how to do it, where to start, what topic to take, and so on. Some of the students who submitted research in the Microbiology laboratory were not able to work properly. Many have not paid attention to the safety of themselves and others even though they have been taught in practicum.

"In order to help students find topics to study, practice skills and be able to work in the Microbiology laboratory safely, the Department of Microbiology FK UII is holding a Research Workshop in the Microbiology Laboratory with the theme "Working Safely, Skillfully and Successfully", he said.

Doctor Farida further added, with this workshop, students are trained to work safely and professionally as researchers so they don't endanger themselves and others. Students will be introduced to several studies that can be used as research topics and provided a vehicle for consultation.

“If possible, students can also be involved in research conducted by lecturers. Thus it is expected that students who will conduct research in the Microbiology laboratory can work well, "he explained. Wibowo
