ITHI (Indonesia's Top Health Initiator) Finalist in National Coordination Meeting XI ISMKI         Kaliurang (UII News) – National Coordination Meeting IX of the Indonesian Medical Student Senate Association (Rakornas XI) of the Indonesian Medical Student Senate Association (ISMKI) which is a series of activities aimed at broadening horizons and preparing medical students in realizing the achievement of the country's goal of "Healthy Indonesia 2025"

        This was conveyed by Alin Julda Qonita, a 2013 batch of UII Medical student while attending the event on Friday - Saturday, 21 -22 Dzulhijah 1437 H / 21-22 September 2016 in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara with her three friends Adhika Rahman,  Dany Martha Pradipta and Aditia.

        According to Alin, the activity was held by way of a Panel Discussion, then mbuilding a harmonious and unified movement of medical students between institutions and ISMKI by presenting all heads of BEM FK in Indonesia, evaluating mid-year performance of ISMKI, BPN, and BAPIN management for the 2015-2016 period and discussing future plans from ISMKI, BPN, and BAPIN period 2016-2017.

        Alin further explained that during the ITHI (Indonesia's Top Health Initiator) Finalist Presentation or it can be called the event for the selection of Health Ambassadors. Here, 12 finalists are taken from the semifinalist stage, then 5 are taken who will enter the finalists, and one will be chosen later.  

The five finalists were Alin Julda Qonita from the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) with the theme of climate change on health, Nur Ahlina Hanifah from Mulawarwan University took the theme Maternal and Child Health, Ivana Beatrice from Atmajaya University Jakarta took the theme Vaccines, Tiwi from Padjadjaran University took the theme Driving safety, and Ni Gusti Made from the University of Indonesia took BPJS theme.

"These finalists describe the project or activity plan which will be presented and carried out assisted by ISMKI then the finalists will answer questions covering the medical world such as the controversy over the legalization of cannabis, euthanasia, alternative medicine/cigarette excise, BPJS, and vaccines," said Alin

After the ITHI series was finished, the Finalists were asked to campaign on their respective stands which had been decorated and continue to campaign for their work. Followed by the CARUT MARUT Panel Discussion on MEDICAL EDUCATION IN INDONESIA with speakers Dr. Siti Pariani, M.Sc, PHD as an observer of medical education, Doctor Supratman Agtas, SH, MH as chairman of the Baleg DPR RI, and Yoga Mirza Pratama, S.Ked as student as well as the secretary general of ismki who mainly discusses DLP.Wibowo/Tri
