LAZNAS BSM Donates 10 Million for Community Service Program FK UII

Kaliurang (UII News) – The National Amil Zakat Institute (LAZNAS) of Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) is gradually providing funds to support community service program activities carried out by the UII Faculty of Medicine in the form of assisting healthy villages.

This was conveyed by Mr. M. Syarif from LAZNAS BSM during the handover of funds in the meeting room of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, UII, Jl. Kaliurang Km.14,5 Sleman Yogyakarta on Wednesday, October 29 2014 which was received directly by the Dean of FK UII dr. Linda Rosita, M.Kes., Sp.PK and accompanied by the Head of the Department of Public Health (IKM) FK UII, dr. Sunarto, M. Kes and the Head of Finance Division of FK UII Siti Nadhiroh.

According to Syarif, the donation this time is to support the Healthy Village assistance activities launched by FK UII in Ngandong Village, Turi, Sleman. Gradually, LAZNAS BSM will provide it gradually as a form of cooperation that has existed until now between FK UII and Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM).

"Now we are handing over 10 million rupiah in funds to support healthy village activities launched by FK UII, in the future we will try to increase the amount gradually, this is a form of the good cooperation that has been currently established between FK UII and BSM," he said .

Responding to the submission of the funds, the Dean of FK UII, dr. Linda Rosita, M.Kes, Sp.PK will maintain the trust in using it for community service activities, for the assistance of Healthy Villages proclaimed by FK UII.

"The funds that have been entrusted will soon be used to build toilets (bathing, washing, and toilet) in the Healthy Village, Dusun Ngandong, which is under the guidance of FK UII. It is hoped that in the future, CSR funds like this can be continued to jointly carry out community service programs," said the Dean.

Meanwhile, dr. Sunarto, M.Kes as the activity coordinator, explained that in addition to making MCK, FK UII will provide guidance and assistance regarding the creative economy so that experts in their fields are needed.

"Hopefully it doesn't just stop here to help fund the physical development of Healthy Villages, guidance in the creative economy is also very much needed, well, if possible BSM can collaborate to provide assistance in Healthy Villages assisted by FK UII," said dr. Sunarto. Wibowo
