FK UII Cooperation Hearing with Sleman Regent

Sleman (UII News) – Collaborating with Higher Education (PT) can be beneficial for the people of Sleman Regency, with the principle of mutual benefit between the Sleman Regional Government and UII whose aim is to provide services to the community quickly and professionally and grow the economic sector, social and religious harmony.

This was conveyed by the Regent of Sleman, Drs.H.Sri Purnomo, M.Si when receiving an audience from the UII delegation on Tuesday, 24 February 2015 / 05 Jumadil Awal 1436 H in the Meeting Room of the Sleman DIY Regent's Office. The delegation from UII consisted of UII ctor Dr. Ir. Harsoyo, M.Sc., Vice Rector III Dr. Abdul Jamil SH, MH, Dean of FK UII, dr. Linda Rosita, M.Kes., Sp.PK., Deputy Dean of FK UII dr. Syaefudin Ali Akhmad, M.Sc., Director of the UII Cooperation and Alumni Marketing Directorate (DPKA) Hangga Fathana, S.IP, B.Int.St, MA, and UII Public Relations Director Karina Utami Dewi, S.IP, MA.

According to the Regent of Sleman, in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), the area that has many tertiary institutions (PT) is in Sleman Regency, so that their presence can be beneficial to the community.

"The MoU with UII can still be continued, considering that the Sleman Regional Government has collaborated many times and it is very useful and has been going well so far," said the Regent.

Delivered by Kadinkes Sleman, dr. Mafilindati Nuraini, M.Kes stated that the Sleman Health Office has collaborated with 38 health education institutions.

Meanwhile, the Chancellor of UII, Dr.Ir.Harsoyo, M.Sc, started the conversation before the audience stated his intention to ask permission from the Regent of Sleman, later that Morangan Hospital could become an Educational Hospital for the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia.

"UII has a Faculty of Medicine intending to turn the Sleman Hospital into an Teaching Hospital with the consideration that they are still in the Sleman area, so that mobility can be reached, and is committed to this collaboration.

Added by the Dean of FK UII, dr. Linda Rosita, M.Kes., Sp.PK that FK UII has collaborated with 13 hospitals in the East Java and Central Java regions that require high mobility over long distances, if it's with Sleman Hospital, these obstacles can be reduced considering the distance is very close .

"With the existence of FK UII in the same area as Sleman Hospital, it is a hope for us to be given permission by the Regent to become an Teaching Hospital for FK UII," the doctor hoped. Wibowo
