TBMM FK UII is Trusted as the Host for MER PTBMMKI

Every Faculty of Medicine in Indonesia certainly has a Student Medical Assistance Team (TBMM). TBMM is an institution in the Faculty of Medicine which is a vehicle for channeling the potential of Faculty of Medicine students, especially in medical and emergency matters, this institution is incorporated in one unit, namely the Indonesian Medical Student Medical Assistance Team Association (PTBMMKI).

To strengthen the relationship between members and management of PTBMMKI, TBMM FK UII was entrusted to host the "Medical Emergency Rescue (MER) TBMM 2012" training on Saturday - Sunday, April 20-21 2012 at the Aerowisata Campground Block 0, AAU Complex, Sleman, DI Yogyakarta, followed by TBMM Region III consisting of TBMM Universitas Islam Indonesia, Gajah Mada University, Yogyakarta Muhammadiyah University, Eleven March Solo State University, Diponegoro State University Semarang, Sultan Agung Islamic University Semarang, General Soedirman University Purwokerto, Semarang Muhammadiyah University and Yogyakarta Duta Wacana Christian University.

 

Explained by one of the committee, Enggar class of 2010 FK UII explained that the purpose of holding this MER was to bring together all members of TBMM Region III, improve the quality of medical skills for TBMM members, apply medical knowledge, love for nature and the general public, form a line of coordination between members The Region III Student Medical Assistance Team in terms of disaster management and improving public health, fostered a sense of brotherhood, kinship and friendship among fellow members of the Association of Indonesian Medical Student Medical Assistance Teams (PTBMMKI), he said.

As a hope that this event will be held, Enggar added that after it was over, it was hoped that the eight TBMM would be better, useful for the university community and able to help people who needed assistance in terms of health, he explained.
