Kaliurang (FK UII) – In order for the organization to run well as expected, comfort, a pleasant atmosphere, and familiarity must be created within the organization. Likewise, to support the creation of a good learning process for FK UII students, a friendly atmosphere is needed among students. This is according to what was conveyed by M. Zaky Hardianto, head of OC CRANIUM 2014 to representatives of Kary Âwan Lecturers (Dokar) FK UII on the sidelines -during the implementation of the 2014 FK UII student social gathering program which was held on 14-16 November 2014 at the Tawangmangu Tourism Complex, Central Java.

According to Zaky, the makrab event is a series of events Center of Solidarity and Tactical Leadership Education for Medical Students (CRANIUM) in 2014 FK UII. "This Makrab was held after the Student Leadership and Management Training (LKMM) event which was all part of the Cranium series of events. This event aims to familiarize new students with their classmates, seniors, and also Employee Lecturers (Dokar).†he said firmly.

The event, which was a program of the Human Resources Development Department at LEM FK UII, was enthusiastically attended by students from batch 2014. The event was divided into three main agendas, the first of which was a night expedition to train mentality, trust, communication, and make decisions and establish cooperation. Second, Cranium Tour (outbound) around the Grojogan Sewu area to train participants' physical fitness, cohesiveness, and familiarity with other participants and with the committee. And thirdly, an art performance where all participants and organizers showcase their respective artistic talents.

Even though the event was busy and tiring, all participants said they enjoyed participating in this event. “There are many programs, exciting even though they are tiring. Starting from the night expedition, outbound to Grojogan Sewu, and getting drenched in mud and added flour, everything was fun, and memorable, so fun!†said the two female participants, Prita Malinda Y and Wintang Dayinta TH, enthusiastically.

The same thing was also conveyed by another participant, namely Ahmad Mufattan who appeared as a king in a drama at an art performance event. “The event was fun and very interesting. As the name implies, this makrab really familiarizes us class of 2014 and also with the committee," he said. Meanwhile Agung Fadlilah revealed that makrab is a useful event. “Besides the show, it is fun to make friends with friends as a medicine for dizziness after previously studying medicine. Makrab provides something fun, like an oasis,†he explained, laughing broadly.

On the 3rd day, it was preceded by morning exercise and entertaining games. the event continued with cleaning and packing. Before closing there were presentations from participants, distribution of prizes, and announcements of the best LKMM and makrab participants. The best LKMM participants were Zulfikar Loka Wicaksana and Zara Desriana, while the best makrab participants went to Ahmad Mufattan and Afifa Nur Fauziah. Â After the midday prayer in congregation, the participants went home by bus to Yogyakarta.

Hopefully the true meaning of this makrab event is as ordered by the Deputy Dean dr. Syaefudin Ali Akhmad, M.Sc during the event for the release of makrab participants, namely the establishment of a good brotherhood was truly ingrained in the hearts of the participants and would bring a positive atmosphere for FK UII students, especially the class of 2014 so that it helps them in going through the learning process at FK UII.
