You must not be in the process of associating to the SSID because the configurations will not save correctly. Follow the steps below to configure WPA2-Enterprise.<\/p>\n<p><strong id=\"docs-internal-guid-4a44f416-2adc-c5d0-b3c4-f790dc47b5a6\">\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. In Windows, navigate to <strong>Control Panel &gt; Network and Internet &gt; Network and Sharing Center<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2. Click <strong>Manage Wireless networks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3. Click <strong>Add<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4. Choose <strong>Manually create a network profile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2643\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fk.uii.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/UII-CONNECT1.png\" alt=\"uii-connect1\" width=\"838\" height=\"617\" \/><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5. On the next page, enter the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Network name<\/strong>: This is the SSID name. It is case sensitive.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Security type<\/strong>: Choose WPA2-Enterprise.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Encryption type<\/strong>: Choose AES.<\/li>\n<li>Check <strong>Start this connection automatically<\/strong> if you want Windows to connect to this network automatically.<\/li>\n<li>Check <strong>Connect even if the network is not broadcasting<\/strong>\u00a0if the SSID is hidden and you want Windows to connect to this network automatically.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>6. Click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2644\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fk.uii.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/UII-CONNECT2.png\" alt=\"uii-connect2\" width=\"627\" height=\"441\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If the RADIUS server has a certificate that may not be trusted by the wireless client or is not a member of the domain in which the RADIUS server resides, on the &#8220;Successfully added&#8221; page, click<strong> Change connection settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>7. Choose the <strong>Security<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>8. Click <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>9. Uncheck <strong>Validate server certificate<\/strong> if the wireless client may not trust the RADIUS server certificate.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2645\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fk.uii.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/UII-CONNECT3.png\" alt=\"uii-connect3\" width=\"382\" height=\"548\" \/><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>10. For the Authentication Method, choose\u00a0<strong>EAP-MSCHAP v2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>11. Click <strong>Configure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>12. Uncheck <strong>Automatically use my Windows logon on name and password<\/strong> if the computer is not on the domain.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2646\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fk.uii.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/UII-CONNECT4.png\" alt=\"uii-connect4\" width=\"383\" height=\"466\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>13. Click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It may be required to specify user or computer authentication based on whether the client is part of the domain or if machine or user authentication is a condition of the RADIUS policy.<\/p>\n<p>To choose user or computer authentication, from the <strong>Security <\/strong>tab,<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0Click <strong>Advanced settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0Select the <strong>802.1X settings<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>c) Check <strong>Specify authentication mode<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>d) Choose <strong>User or c<\/strong><strong>omputer authentication<\/strong>.
