Kaliurang (UII News) – With the aim of mutual complementarity and mutual benefit in the form of implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in producing professional and qualified health worker candidates, the Yogyakarta Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia's Polytechnic of Health cooperates with the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) to implement it.

This was conveyed by the Dean of FK UII, dr. Linda Rosita, M.Kes, Sp.PK when receiving a visit from the Indonesian Ministry of Health Poltekkes led directly by Abidillah Mursyid, SKM, MS as the Director on Tuesday, 17 Jumadil Ula 1438 H / 14 February 2017 in the Meeting Room of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine ( FK) Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII).

According to doctor Linda, the principle of this collaboration is mutual assistance and mutual benefit in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, with the principle of mutual complementarity and mutual benefit in the form of implementing the Higher Education Tri Dharma.

"Activities include Education, Research, and Community Service in order to improve student competence and institutional development; including the utilization of lecturers as resource persons/experts/guest lecturers, external reviewers to review research proposals and results, joint research, joint publications, community service collaborations, implementation of Interprofessional Education (IPE), Implementation of Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC)”, said doctor Linda.

Meanwhile, the Director of Poltekkes, Ministry of RI Yogyakarta, Abidillah Mursyid, SKM, MS said he was happy because he could collaborate with the UII Faculty of Medicine, with this activity the Poltekes would also prepare expert staff.

"With this collaboration, we can use each other to improve the quality of prospective health professionals by providing information and guidance on developments and progress in the health sector in order to support the teaching and learning process in institutions both at the Poltekes and FK UII," Abdillah Mursyid said.
