Improve Soft Skills With Makrab

Kaliurang (UII News) – In an effort to build a spirit of kinship and solidarity between the committee and FK UII students class of 2019 as well as FK UII academic lecturers, FK UII, coordinated by the Student Organization, held an Familiarity Night (Makrab).
This was said by Qoit Muhammad Abdul Ghalib, class 2018 student, as Chairman of the Makrab Committee, when the Makrab was held which was attended by all new students of the 2019 batch of FK UII students, taking place in Tawangmangu, Karanganyar, Central Java, on Friday-Sunday, 26-28 Safar 1441 H/ 25-27 October 2019, accompanied by the Secretariat of the Faculty of Medicine Faculty of Medicine UII Study Program, dr. Zainuri Sabta Nugraha, M.Sc
According to Qoit, this activity is packaged in an outbound form consisting of nine game posts. Before departure, each group is given a control card which they must submit to the committee at each game post to serve as an assessment sheet. At each game post each group will be given a clue consisting of one word which at the end of the outbound session must be assembled into a sentence. Then all sentences from each group in one generation are arranged into a paragraph. Each group will be contested with the best participant category, one of which is the introductory post.
"In the game every activity is to take the role philosophy of a student, one of which is as an agent of health, so that a medical student who has sensitivity and care will lead this nation towards a better quality of health," said Qoit.
It was further said that the agent of health is a figure who has partiality for the people who have raised him. Be beside them to be a solution to the health problems they experience. Agent of Health grows and develops in the midst of society, not on dry prodeo campuses with lessons about life. An agent of health realizes that choosing this path means they have vowed to involve themselves as community leaders. In addition to outbound tracking, social gathering activities are enlivened by art performances, with the aim of being a venue for familiarizing participants, committee, and guests as well as companions, so that both participants and organizers play an active role in this event to give performances that they have set beforehand.
"Participants, committee, and guests gather in one field and unite with each other, then the participants will present an art performance that was previously conceptualized and followed by performances from the committee and assistants," said Qoit Muhammad Abdul Ghalib as chairman of the 2019 FK UII New Student Makrab Committee .
Meanwhile as a companion, dr. Zainuri Sabta Nugraha, M.Sc (Secretary of Study Program FK UII) acknowledged that activities such as this makrab need assistance, as a venue for intimacy to also control all student activities, so that participants and committee can carry out the vision of FK UII which is rahmatan lil 'alamin and can take care of themselves, the good name of the alma mater in every activity, that was the impression.
