Improving Branding, FK UII Follows JCE at Atrium Hartono Mall
Medicine (UII News) – JCE is Jogja Campus Expo (JCE) which is a local education exhibition in Yogyakarta which was attended by 22 participants from higher education institutions in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and was attended by around 1000 visitors, the majority of which consisted of high school/MA students or equivalent
This was conveyed by the Coordinator of the Promotion and Cooperation Unit (UPKS) of the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) while following Jogja Campus Expo (JCE) at Atrium Hartono Mall, Yogyakarta on Friday-Saturday 26-27 February 2016 / 17-18 Jumadil Awal 1437 H.
According to doctor Dimas, at JCE 2016, the Promotion and Cooperation Unit (UPKS) of FK UII through its promotion team participated and joined the promotion teams of other faculties at the UII stand. The FK UII promotion team consists of dr. Dimas Satya Hendarta (team leader), Syukriyani Rochmawati (admin), Guntoro (equipment), Muri Wibowo, and Ahmad Mufattan (student member of the UII FK promotion team).
It was further explained that during the exhibition, sEvery day the team works and serves visitors at the activity stand starting at 08.00 until it finishes at 19.00 at the UII stand measuring 12 m2 (6 x 2m).
"The activities carried out by the UII FK promotion team included: minor surgery demonstrations, UII FK consultations, distribution of brochures, merchandise, as well as FK UII promotional packages for teachers," he said
Meanwhile, the committee from JCE 2016 brought high school/MA students from several schools in Yogyakarta by bus so that the UII FK promotion team managed to distribute 1600 brochures to high school/MA students majoring in natural sciences (either directly or entrusted to other science classmates). who incidentally is a potential student candidate for FK UII.
"The high school/MA students majoring in science are very interested in FK UII considering that FK UII is one of the best medical faculties in Indonesia with A accreditation," said Doctor Dimas.
He also added that at the event, the visitors seriously consulted about FK UII, starting from the cost of education, the education system, the date of the examination, the components of the entrance exam, and so on. In fact, some of the students were already following Paper Based Test (PBT) FK UII batch I period January 17 2016 ago but has not been accepted. Apart from high school/MA students majoring in science, many teachers and parents of prospective students also participated in digging up as much information as possible about FK UII.
