Advice not to sleep after Sahur

But Rasulullah SAW said, "Thaw your food with dhikr to Allah SWT and pray, and don't sleep immediately after eating, because it can make your heart hard." (HR Abu Nu'aim from Aisyah ra).

Sleeping after sahur can increase the risk of several things happening, including:

1. Chest feels hot and constipated

Supine will inhibit gastric emptying. This can cause constipation. A filled stomach induces gastric acid production. If it is empty for a long time, apart from food and stomach acid, it can come back up. The parasympathetic state of sleep also increases stomach acid production. This increases the risk of gastric ulcers.

2. Weight gain which can trigger Diabetes

Weight gain occurs when the calories consumed are more than the calories expended. Sleeping after eating eliminates the opportunity to burn calories, and during sleep parasympathetic activation occurs, so absorption is faster. This causes the calories absorbed to immediately increase sharply in the blood, so that the excess is immediately stored as fat in the cells.

not only health, it turns out that sleeping after dawn can also prevent good luck as Ibn Qayyim Al – Jauziyyah Rahimahullah said

"Sleep after dawn prevents sustenance, because dawn is the time when creatures seek their sustenance and the time they distribute it. Sleeping after dawn is something that is prohibited [makruh] unless there is a cause or necessity
