In the view of the Qur'an, humans are seen in several aspects that cannot be separated. The three aspects are the physical aspect (physical, biological), the emotional aspect (psychological, psychological) and the spiritual aspect (spiritual, transcendental). Mental health will be achieved if there is a balance between these three aspects. Individuals who achieve mental health will be able to use the potentials bestowed by Allah SWT.
By maintaining mental health, it is hoped that individuals will not only achieve success but also achieve happiness. In this happy condition, the individual is in a calm, peaceful, peaceful state of mind, pleased with himself, and grateful for God's provisions. This is as the words of Rasulullah SAW "Among the happiness of a person is his pleasure in Allah's decrees. And among the suffering of the children of Adam is not wanting to give up the choice to God. And among the sufferings of the children of Adam is their anger against Allah's decree (HR. Abu Dawud, from Sa'ad bin Abi Waraqah).
Tahajud means waking up from sleep. The midnight prayer is often also called the night prayer or it is also called (Salatul Laila or Qiyamul Lail) because the time to perform this prayer is at night when everyone is fast asleep. Tahajud prayer is a sunnah prayer that was never abandoned by the Prophet throughout his life.
And the best time to perform the Tahajud prayer the scholars have divided the main times as follows:
1. The first third, which is approximately from 19.00 – 22.00 hours, this is the main time.
2. The second third, which is approximately from 22.00 to 01.00 hours, this is the more important time.
3. The third third, which is approximately from 01.00 to 03.00 until dawn, this is the most important time.
The benefits of the Tahajud Prayer for health are that it can bring peace of mind, control emotions, clear thoughts, enthusiasm and confidence. This is in accordance with the hadith "The midnight prayer can erase sins, bring calm, and prevent illness," (HR Tirmidhi).
So it can be concluded that carrying out the midnight prayer with a sincere heart and hoping for the pleasure of Allah for those who believe will create peace and tranquility in the heart.
