The Importance of a Doctor's Brain and Heart

So if a doctor has the ability between the brain and the heart that appears later is the character. This means that the success or failure of a doctor is determined by a person's character.

Located in the Psychology Auditorium Universitas Islam Indonesia, Faculty of Medicine carried out Doctor's Appointments Batch I-2004 by taking appointments of 26 medical graduates. The event took place on Tuesday 2 December 2008 at 10.00 WIB. The doctor's appointment procession was attended by the Chancellor Universitas Islam Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine represented by the Deputy Dean, dr. Riana Rahmawati, M.Kes, Representative of the Hospital which on this occasion was attended by Sragen Hospital, dr. Kinik Dharsono, MMedEd (representing the Director) and dr. Djoko Purwanto (representing Education and Training). 

Ranita Parjaman, S.Ked, as the best graduate representing her peers, signed the Doctor's Promise which was read by Andrianor Rahman, S. Ked. which in essence will carry out clerkship activities seriously, professionally, in accordance with the competence they have and promise to firmly uphold the Islamic faith which has been taught so far in education.

 
In his remarks the Chancellor Universitas Islam Indonesia Prof. Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid emphasized the importance of competence for a professional doctor. Without competence, the professionalism of a doctor is questionable. Because of the importance of professionalism, it is hoped that the young doctor's appointment participants this time in running the clerkship must be able to finish on time. Meanwhile dr. Riana Rahmawati, M.Kes in her speech young doctors can learn seriously and can respect not only fellow colleagues, but also patients and senior doctors who will guide young doctors as well.
