Kaliurang (UII News) – As an expert lecturer in lectures at the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia then it is required after that to make questions that will be tested. In order to equip expert lecturers to be able to formulate questions properly and correctly, the UII Faculty of Medicine is holding a question-making workshop for expert lecturers of FK UII.

This was conveyed by dr. Diani Puspa Wijaya, M.Med.Ed as the organizer of the question-making workshop for expert lecturers of FK UII which was held on Wednesday, 25 Muharram 1441 H/25 September 2019 at 13.00 -15.30 in the computer laboratory on the 2nd floor of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia, Jalan Kaliurang Km.14,5 Sleman Yogyakarta, which was attended by all expert lecturers from external UII, FK UII internal lecturers, and new tutors.

according to dr. Diani explained that the workshop taught how to create or compose questions and the practice of making questions by giving expert lecturers explanations about the basic concepts of assessment, about the basic concepts of blueprint assessment and about the preparation of good MCQ questions.

"In this activity it was also explained about the preparation of good questions for materials about medicine such as MCQ and non-medical materials, and also explained the preparation of other types of exam questions such as SAQ, Essay, and ended with practice making questions", so Doctor Diani explained.

Furthermore, doctor Diani added that for the cognitive level of the MCQ question, the agreed level was level Reasoning and recalling, (adjust to the blue print assessment) specifically for the level recalling questions that are expected at least at the level of Bloom's taxonomy C2 (comprehension) not at C1 level (pure recall)

“The MCQ questions must have 3 components, namely the question stem, lead in and option. These three components must always exist both in typed questions recalling nor Reasoning, clinical and biomedical matters,” added the lecturer from MEU FK UII.

Meanwhile, as the speaker, doctor Yeny also added that to write stem questions can contain statements, data, tables, graphs, pictures, cartoons (case), then the data displayed in the question stem must be convergent, meaning that the existing data is conical, leading to one specific (diagnostic) thing.
