Monthly Primary Care Update (MPCU)

[:en]Yogyakarta-FK UII – Every month on the second Friday of the week, Faculty of Medicine UII will hold health seminars for general practitioners, internships and co-ordinators. This event was held from July to December 2017 in the 1st floor Auditorium Faculty of Medicine UII.

As the opening month, this time MPCU will be held on Friday 03 Dzulka'idah 1438 H / 28 July 2017, from 12.30-15.50 WIB. After all participants had registered, the event was opened with the recitation of the Holy Qur'an and remarks from the Dean of FK UII. Then the first material delivered by Dr. Erlina Marfianti, Sp.PD M.Sc. which provides material regarding Management of Infectious Diseases in Primary Services (Typhus, DF/DHF and Leptospirosis) and Family Physician Practice Clinic Management presented by Dr. M. Husen Prabowo, MPH Apart from gaining a lot of new knowledge, in this event participants were also allowed to have direct discussions with experts.

This event further attracted the interest of the participants to take part in the MPCU because apart from the presence of experts in their fields, the MPCU FK UII also raised various interesting themes ranging from infectious diseases to geriatric problems in primary-level health facilities which of course were very useful and needed by the participants to develop skills in the medical field.

As the opening month, this time the MPCU was held on Friday 03 Dzulka'idah 1438 H/July 28, 2017, from 12.30-3.50 pm. After all participants were registered, the event opened with the recitation of the Holy Qur'an and the welcome speech of the Dean of FK UII. Then the first material presented by Dr. Marfianti, Erlina Sp. PD M.Sc. which provides materials on the Management of Infectious Diseases in Primary Services (Typhus, DF / DHF and Leptospirosis) and Clinical Management of Family Practice Doctor presented by Dr. Ir. M. Husen Prabowo, MPH in addition gained a lot of new science. Participants in this event are also allowed for direct discussions with the experts.

This event was increasingly attracting participants to follow MPCU because in addition to presenting the expert in his field, MPCU FK UII also raised various interesting themes ranging from infectious diseases to geriatric problems in primary-level health facilities are of course, very useful and needed by the participants to develop their abilities.
