Kaliurang (UII News) – Medicine is already 15 years old, established on September 03 2001, with 1234 alumni doctors, and 1146 students who are active in both S.Ked and clinical education.

This was explained by doctor Linda Rosita, M.Kes, Sp.PK as the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) in a speech welcoming the Akbar Nada and Da'wah recitation with KH. Anang Rikza Masyhadi, MA (Caregiver of Pondok Modern Tazzaka, Batang, Central Java) on Tuesday, 22 Shafar 1438 H / 22 November 2016 in the KH auditorium. Abdul Kahar Muzakir, Ulil Albab Mosque Complex, UII Integrated Campus, Jl. Kaliurang Km.14,5 Sleman, Yogyakarta, which was attended by the Chancellor of UII, Dr. Ir. Harsoyo, M.Sc, lecturers, tutors, educational staff and students of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia.

According to doctor Linda, working in the world of education is a mandate from Allah SWT for which we must be grateful because it is attached to worship, as stated in the letter of Ibrahim, verse 7 which was read by Rastry Zurifa at the beginning of the event.

"So we have to be able to answer the challenges that exist, for example students must be on time in their studies, with better grades as well, so that every process that goes through in lectures is an investment to face the national exam," said doctor Linda.

Meanwhile, UII Chancellor, Dr.Ir. Harsoyo, M.Sc recounted the existence of UII Medicine which used to exist, but over time it was finally acquired by the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Sebelas Maret University (UNS), and only in 2001, on September 03, 2001, did it get permission again from the Ministry of National Education to establish the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII).

"Even though the UII Faculty of Medicine is only 15 years, 2 months, 19 days old, it can be considered that they are not yet mature, they are still children. In 2012, we will be able to achieve the A accreditation title again," said the Chancellor of UII.

While the lecture delivered by KH. Anang Rikza Masyhadi, MA, reminded those present that now or at this time many people are looking for the truth but their behavior is actually not right, for example people studying law even breaking the law, for this reason learning the truth only with the Al Quran and Al Hadith which is the truth true.

"Therefore, if a person has increased in knowledge but does not increase in guidance, then he will be far from Allah SWT, if there is a rich person but does not increase in guidance, he will also be far from Allah SWT, and many others," said a piece of his tausyiah. Wibowo/Tri[:]
