Kaliurang (UII News) – Gathering together is a concept in order to reunite UII Faculty of Medicine alumni who have graduated and served throughout the country, which was carried out in the context of the 10th anniversary of FK UII alumni.

This was conveyed by the Head of FK UII Alumni, dr. Muhammad Yusuf Hisam, Sp.An delivering his remarks on Saturday, 06 Dzulhijah 1439 H / 18 August 2018 in the auditorium of Prof. KH. Abdul Kahar Muzakir, UII Integrated Campus, Jalan Kaliurang Km.14,5 Sleman Yogyakarta, which was attended by 200 FK UII alumni doctors.

According to doctor Yusuf, this grand reunion was initiated to bring back friends who have migrated everywhere, it's just that to gather friends there must be someone who remembers that they are symposiums, meet misses, and work meetings.

"In the future work program, alumni will form a foundation that is useful for accommodating social activities, community service, and science," said Doctor Yusuf.

Meanwhile, dr. Drs. Rohidin, SH, M.Ag. The Deputy Chancellor for Student, Religious & Alumni Affairs is proud of Medical alumni Universitas Islam Indonesia, many works have been achieved, so far.

"Please note that this new school year, new UII students have increased, and the study program that is most interested in is medicine. This means that the UII Faculty of Medicine has been accepted and respected by the community for all its hard work and achievements, so that it is in high demand,' said Vice Rector III UII.

Dean of FK UII, dr. Linda Rosita, M.Kes, Sp.PK also appreciated the organizing of the Faculty of Medicine alumni gathering Universitas Islam Indonesia, which has been able to unite alumni and bring together lecturers and staff as well as the academic community of FK UII.

"Hopefully in the future it can be packaged even better, more crowded and full of scientific activities and community service, as currently the UII FK team is sending a medical team to Lombok," said doctor Linda Rosita. Wibowo
