PEKANBARU (fk.uii.ac.id) – Anandyo Septiawan, student of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia (FK UII) was elected as General Chair of the Ukhuwah Forum for Da'wah Institute for the Faculty of Medicine (FUDFK) for the 2016/2017 period at the XII National Conference (MUNAS) held on 1-4 December 2016 at the University of Riau, Pekanbaru. In addition to the election of the general chairman, the event which was attended by hundreds of participants from LDFK throughout Indonesia was also a forum for discussion, deliberation, and hospitality to create togetherness and a close sense of kinship among the LDFK board.

The general chairman election agenda itself was held on the 3rd day of the MUNAS. From the initial deliberations, dozens of candidates were selected and finally Anandyo, who also served as Chair of the Center for Medical Islamic Activities (CMIA) FK UII, was elected by acclamation to become general chairman for the 2016/2017 term of office. "Thank you all for the prayers that have been said, I hope that CMIA as my first stepping stone will always be consistent in the endless struggle for da'wah.
