Medicine (UII News) - Universitas Islam Indonesia won two titles in the Interfaculty Medical Scientific Competition (Intermedisco) in the Scientific Writing Competition (LKTI) branch held in Universitas Islam Indonesia and Yogyakarta Cultural Arts P4TK on Thursday-Sunday 21-24 Shawwal 1439 H/5-8 July 2018.

This was conveyed by Muhammad Rahman Suhendri, a 2014 class student who won second place in the Interfaculty Medical Scientific Competition (Intermedisco).

According to Rahman, intermedisco is an annual work program of the SMART FKUII student activity unit. The theme this year is internal medicine. There are several branches of the competition, namely public educational videos, literature reviews, LKTI, essays, and public posters. The target of this competition are health students (medicine, pharmacy, midwifery, nursing etc) throughout Indonesia.

"After going through the file selection, there were 88 finalists in all competitions. The FKUII team itself succeeded in becoming finalists in 2 branches of the competition, namely one literature review team and two LKTI teams," said Rahman.

Furthermore, it was explained that two LKTI teams won 2nd place on behalf of Mohamad Rahman Suhendri and 3rd place on behalf of Hanif Purbaya and Angga Juliananda.
