Kaliurang – Last Wednesday, December 14 2016, the Faculty of Medicine, UII, received a visit from the Balikpapan KPS (Contractor Production Sharing) National High School. The visit began at 13.00 which took place in the Auditorium of the UII Faculty of Medicine. The delegation was received directly by the Dean of FK UII, dr. Linda Rosita M.Kes, Sp.PK. The group of 70 students, 5 teachers and the principal deliberately chose FK UII for a comparative study and gave students an overview of studying medicine. After the opening and remarks from the Dean of FK UII, they were taken on a tour of the Faculty of Medicine library which has a complete collection of medical-themed books. After that they were invited to visit the anatomy and histology laboratories so they could see first hand the preparations for learning media at FK UII. The students seemed very enthusiastic as can be seen from the expressions of joy and joy because they could see immediately kahdaver. But there are also students who are afraid so they don't dare to get too close to the anatomical preparations. As before, the KPS Balikpapan Middle School has routinely scheduled visits to the UII Faculty of Medicine which has been going on for about 4 years in a row. Teachers hope that their students will gain insight into studying Medicine.
