Kaliurang (UII News) – Through the One Village One Concept (One Village One Concept), it will be made one of the Community Service Program (KKN) activities Universitas Islam Indonesia, for batch 59, which synergizes with the Village Government Planning (PPD) program in Petir Village, Rongkop District and Bappaeda Gunung Kidul and LIPI Yogyakarta, as well as receiving support from the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD), Gunung Kidul Regency.

This was conveyed by the Head of the UII KKN Center, dr. R.Edi Fitriyanto, M.Gizi on Friday, 29 Dzulhijah 1440 H/ 30 August 2019, in the Tutorial Room Floor 2 of FK UII, Jalan Kaliurang Km.14,5 Sleman Yogyakarta.

according to dr. Edi Fitriyanto, M.Gizi that in Petir Village, Rongkop District, they are piloting a cultural village, with the concept of IT and Culture-based Educational Tourism as well as an industry in the form of batik with a distinctive motif with the name Gudhe flower and the Jenang Rongkop industry and food made from peanuts.

"One of the icons is the development of Mount Buthak tourism by utilizing the natural preservation on the hill and making it a tourism object with IT and culture-based education, which is in accordance with Village Government Planning (PPD)," said doctor Edi.

Furthermore, doctor Edy explained that UII's KKN 59 in Petir Village, Rongkop, Gunung Kidul with Field Supervisors, Usmar Ismail and Aden Widjan SZ not only raised a tourist village, but also built a pond on the hill.

"The reservoir will be one of the work programs to support irrigation, so that it can help the community in farming activities," added Doctor Edi.
