Kaliurang (UII News) - Medical School Universitas Islam Indonesia (FK UII) sent 3 lecturers to participate in the activity International Islamic Healthcare Conference Expo (IHEX) 2019 on Thursday-Saturday, 14-16 Rajab 1440 H/21-23 March 2019 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).

The three lecturers are: dr. Linda Rosita, M.Kes, Sp.PK, Dr.dr. Farida Juliantina Rachmawaty, M. Kes and dr. Ana Fauziyati, Sp.PD. The UII Hospital also sent 5 participants including the Director of the Hospital.

This was conveyed by Dr.dr. Farida Juliantina Rachmawaty, M.Kes, after participating in the activity, which was organized by the All-Indonesia Health Efforts Council (MUKISI), for the 2nd time.

According to doctor Farida, last year's first implementation was to consolidate Sharia Hospitals in Indonesia. Currently more emphasis on collaboration, with the theme "Blessing (Abundance) Syari'ah Hospital in the Era of Awakening.

"It is extraordinary that the event can be held in such a grand manner followed by around 1000 participants which can be said to be 2 times as much as the previous year. Many workshops were held, workshops attended by FK UII lecturers: Healthy Financial Management at Syari'ah Hospitals and Workshops on Preparation for Syari'ah Hospitals as Integrated Hajj and Umrah Health Service Centers,” said doctor Farida

Furthermore, it was said that the message that really hit in this activity was 'In Islam success is not alone but success together.

One of the speakers is a DPR member who is also an artist, Dede Yusuf. Lots of extraordinary knowledge that can be taken. During the Tablig Akbar activities, the main speaker was Ustadz Fatih Karim in the afternoon session and Mr. Ari Ginanjar guided by artists Ari Untung and Andrian.

The story told is very inspiring. The two main speakers discussed the past glory of Islam and it is time for Muslims to rise up today. With the Syari'ah Hospital, blessings will appear on all fronts because it is carried out with very Islamic standards, patients are treated very comfortably, everything is within the scope of what is halal and toyyib and more importantly is to save the faith of the people.

Syari'ah Hospitals can be operated by all hospitals, it doesn't have to be based on Islam, in fact, several state/government hospitals are already Sharia-certified and some are in the process of doing so.

Currently, there are 54 Shariah-certified hospitals. In addition to the symposium and workshop activities, a call paper and Mukisi Award were also held, which gave awards to innovations carried out by the Sharia Hospital, one of the winners by presenting wastewater that is processed into holy water that purifies.

"Hopefully next year FK UII and RS UII can participate in this agenda and RS UII can soon be certified shari'ah with full of blessings," hoped doctor Farida. Wibowo
