Kaliurang (UII News) – In order to discuss the process of sending a delegation of Islamic Medical Students to Turkey in July 2017, the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) which is incorporated in the Indonesian Islamic Medicine Forum (FOKI) to host the coordination in preparing the delegation as a function of control over student activities.

This was conveyed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) dr. Linda Rosita, M.Kes, Sp.PK when the coordination event took place in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room of PYBW UII Cikditiro on Saturday, 14 Jumadil Ula 1438 H/11 February 2017 which was attended by the Dean of FK UNISSULA dr.H. Iwang Yusuf, M.Sc, FK UII and from medical students from all over Indonesia who are members of the Ukhuwah Forum for Medical Da'wah Institutions (FULDK).

According to doctor Linda, this event is important to hear about the camp process that will be attended by Islamic medical students throughout Indonesia, as an effort to assist, supervise and control as well as assist students so that they can be monitored for all their activities outside the campus, let alone outside country.

"In addition to this role, participants who will join the camp in Turkey must also have soft skills that can bring the good name of the alma mater, as well as integrity, intelligence and responsibility," he advised.

Meanwhile the head of the National FULDK, Anandiyo, said he was happy with the role of the Faculty of Medicine leaders who care about medical student camp activities outside the campus, especially those activities abroad, so their role is really needed to monitor and provide input on student activities.

"To be honest, we are pleased with the attention of the leaders of the Faculty of Islamic Medicine throughout Indonesia who provide direction, facilities, funding and supervision of the camp activities that will be held in Turkey in the future," said Anandiyo.

The event, which was packaged with coordination, ended with friendly exchanges, getting to know each other from one faculty to another so that they became familiar from an early age ahead of departure for Turkey in July 2017. Wibowo
