Medicine Organizes Senses Organ Block Seminar

        Kaliurang (UII News – 24/11) – In order to prepare lectures on the sensory organ block (1.3) with the Competency Based Curriculum (KBK) for first semester students of TA. 2015/2016 then Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia organize Seminars and Workshops (SEMILOKA) for the block.

        This was conveyed by dr. Miranti Dewi Pramaningtyas, M.Sc as the coordinator of the sensory organ block, as well as the Kadept. Histology of Medical Education Study Program FK UII during the semi-loga took place on Tuesday, 24 November 2015 / 21 Shafar 1437 H at the Main Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia, Jl. Kaliurang Km. 14,5 Sleman, Yogyakarta.

        Doctor Miranti explained, the sensory organ block includes learning objectives including students being able to explain the microscopic and macroscopic structures of the visual system, being able to explain the embryology of the visual system, explaining the physiology of lacrimation, being able to explain and other learning objectives related to block 1.3.

        "The competency standards for sensory organ block 1.3 (KBK 2011) cover effective communication, clinical skills, scientific foundations of medical science, management of health problems, information management, and discuss competency areas of self-introspection and self-development, and competency areas of ethics, morals, medicolegal, and professionalism and patient safety,” explained doctor Miranti.
