Clinical education is a momentum to gain knowledge consistently, especially expertise in the field of communication between young doctors and their patients is the main weapon.

This was conveyed by the Chancellor of UII, Fathul Wahid, ST., M.Sc., Ph.D when delivering his remarks at the Young Doctor's Appointment event, on Friday, 08Dzulqoidah 1439 H/20 July 2018 at the Prof.KHA Kahar Muzakir auditorium, Ulil Albab Mosque Complex Universitas Islam Indonesia, UII Campus, Jalan Kaliurang Km.14,5 Sleman Yogyakarta.

According to the Chancellor of UII, as a young doctor, FK UII must have good communication skills, so that the patients we talk to feel comfortable, so that we can receive the message correctly without being ambiguous.

"Communication is very important, so use language according to our abilities, clearly so that it is not ambiguous," said the Chancellor of UII to the young doctors.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Director of Support and Research at Madiun Hospital, doctor Dita Artiningtyas, M.Kes, advised young doctors of FK UII who will be undergoing clinical education at Madiun Hospital to always take care of themselves by taking advantage of the time available, so that they can be useful in gaining knowledge and being able to independent when plunged into society.

"The key to success for young doctors is to always study diligently, be independent, prepare knowledge for the cases at hand, don't be empty, so there are no problems when dealing with patients," ordered doctor Dita.

The young doctors of FK UII who will take part in the clinical education process in the July 2018 period will be placed at Wonogiri Hospital and Madiun Hospital, with a total of 64 young doctors, consisting of 20 men and 44 women. Wibowo/Tri[:]
