Medicine Organizes Social Service for Eid al-Adha 1440 H in Fostered Villages

Kaliurang (UII News) – In commemoration of the Islamic Eid al-Adha 1140 H and efforts to provide guidance to the community in the Assisted Village, the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia organize social services.

This was conveyed by Dr. Sunarto, M.Kes as the coordinator of the Eid al-Adha 1440 H Social Service activities during health counseling activities, free examinations and treatment and distributing basic necessities to the community who are members of FK UII's assisted villages, namely in Ngandong Hamlet, and Tritis Hamlet, Turi, Sleman Yogyakarta, on Saturday, 02 Dzulhijah 1440 H/03 August 2019, by presenting dr. Erlina Marfianti, M.Sc, Sp.PD as a health counselor about breast cancer, and all general practitioners and specialists as a medical team and TBMM FK UII.

according to dr. Sunarto, this activity was held in the context of Eid al-Adha 1440 H, as the place of activity was in the Foster Village of FK UII, by providing health education, providing basic necessities and free examinations along with the medicine.

"The free check-ups are carried out by doctors who are FK UII lecturers consisting of ENT specialists, neurologists, dentists, with the flow of activities being that residents listen to counseling, then get free checkups and go home with basic food packages," explained Dr. Sunarto, M. Kes.

further dr. Sunarto explained that Eid al-Adha 1440 H activities in the Assisted Village located in Ngandong Hamlet, and Tritis Hamlet, Turi, Sleman Yogyakarta did not stop here, but there were further dedication activities, namely on Eid al-Adha 1440 H which fell on Sunday, August 11 2019 by submitting sacrificial animals from shohibul who are FK UII academics.

"The sacrificial animals originating from the shohibul, namely the UII FK academic community, were given to local residents, and another cow was handed over to Pandak Bantul, which is a resident around UII Hospital," said Dr. Sunarto, M.Kes. Wibowo
