Bantul (UII News) – UII's medical faculty, with the vision of rahmatan lil alamin, always carries out community approaches as part of consistent and continuous professional da'wah to carry out the Eid al-Adha sacrifice in the assisted village, namely Wijirejo Village, Pandak District, Bantul, to the south of the Teaching Hospital (UII News). RSP) Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII).

This was conveyed by the Chairperson of Wijirejo Village Community Service, Pandak Bantul District, Faculty of Medicine UII, doctor Sani Rahman Soleman, M.Sc, on Tuesday, 09 Dzulhijah 1439 H/21 August 2018 when handing over a sacrificial bull.

According to Dr. Sani, the activities that were packaged in order to strengthen the relationship between FK UII and the community in the assisted villages were a mandate that had to be carried out in order to create harmonization as an institutional responsibility in community service activities.

“Eid al-Adha as a momentum for sacrifice is not only in the text of the Qur'an but values which has a wider scope, namely to build Qur'anic civilization through social activities, “said Dr. Sani.

Doctor Sani further added that cultural approaches are still very much needed in order to bridge between interests ummah with umara as part of the Islamic treatise, scientific charity and practical knowledge as Universitas Islam Indonesia proclaim it to the Academic Community.

The qurban meat will later be distributed to the assisted villages of the UII Faculty of Medicine, adjacent to the UII RSP to 500 families in Wijirejo village. Wibowo
