Kaliurang (UII News) – There was an earthquake in Lombok, East Nusa Tenggara (NTB), the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) formed the Lombok Penduli Medical Assistance Team.

This was conveyed by the Deputy Dean for Student, Religious and Alumni Affairs (KKA) of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia, dr. Nur Aisyah Jamil, M.Sc when dispatching a medical team to care for Lombok on Tuesday, August 07 2018 at the parking lot of FK UII, Jalan Kaliurang Km.14,5 Sleman Yogyakarta, which was attended by UII Chancellor, Fathul Wahid, ST, M.Sc., Ph.D. and Dr. Drs. Rohidin, SH, M.Ag. as Deputy Chancellor for Student, Religious & Alumni Affairs.

According to doctor Nur Aisyah Jamil, M.Sc., the sending of a medical team caring for Lombok will be carried out periodically with a period of approximately one week, involving specialist doctors. Among them, Surgery, Anesthesia.

"The replacement of the medical team caring for Lombok is carried out in one week alternately, and at the same time withdrawing it, as well as when sending the medical team provided with logistics and medicines," explained doctor Nur Aisyah Jamil.

Meanwhile, the Chancellor of UII, Fathul Wahid, ST, M.Sc., Ph.D, in his remarks conveyed to the medical team that they are entrusting the good name Universitas Islam Indonesia to the volunteers from UII.

“Be our ambassador, as a spy Universitas Islam Indonesia related to the needs needed in Lombok, it is also important to maintain the health of the volunteers, so they can work optimally and help each other," said the Chancellor of UII.

In the first period of departure, the medical team sent 2 general practitioners, 1 nurse, and 3 FK UII students from the FK UII Student Medical Assistance Team (TBMM). Wibowo
