Kaliurang (UII News) – Musyrik is an act of shirk, that is an act of associating partners with Allah SWT, this is a grave sin and therefore one must repent before death so that it is forgiven.

That was the lecture on monotheism delivered by Ustadz. Dr. Supriyanto Pasir, S.Ag., M.Ag on Friday, 04 Jumadil Akhir 1438 H / 03 March 2017 at the 1st floor auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) which was attended by education staff and attended by the Deputy Dean of FK UII, dr. Syaefudin Ali Akhmad, M.Sc

According to Ustadz Pasir, if someone commits the sin of shirk and does not repent, the perpetrator of shirk will go to hell eternally, if he does not repent while he is still alive.

"Allah SWT will forgive the sin of shirk with 3 conditions, the first is to leave the immoral act, the second is to regret not having committed the immoral act, and the third is to be determined not to repeat it again forever," said Ustadz Pasir.

Meanwhile, doctor Syaefudin Ali Akhmad, M.Sc responded positively to the study submitted by Ustadz Pasir, by emphasizing that religion is a system that regulates our lives, so we must obey and submit to the rules of Allah SWT.

"Studying religion is not just studying for worldly life, but for life in the hereafter," said the Vice Dean of FK UII, doctor Syaefudin Ali Akhmad, M.Sc. Wibowo
