[:en]Information about WIFI Eduroam[:]

[:en] Here we convey information to the academic community of the UII Faculty of Medicine regarding the announcement regarding WiFi Eduroam from the UII Information System Agency that as part of BSI's efforts to support UII towards a World Class University, God willing, UII has joined the global eduroam network. What is the eduroam global network? The eduroam network allows you to connect to WiFi at research/higher education institutions in the world that are already members of eduroam using the credentials you have at UII.

For example, you are visiting the University of Melbourne in Australia, you can connect to the eduroam network at UniMelb by using your login at UII. Please use account [email protected] and password (example: [email protected]) which is used by you at UII to connect to WiFi at the institution that you visited.

On the other hand, UII also provides eduroam services for guests who come to the UII campus. For example, your study program/faculty, you invite guests from The University of Queensland, Australia to come to UII, they can connect to eduroam WiFi in the UII environment, using their respective usernames and passwords in Australia.

Eduroam is present at UII as a form of support for global mobility Ladies and gentlemen. This is because most of the institutions in developed countries have migrated to eduroam to increase collaboration, research, and collaboration between institutions.

Hopefully with this new service, UII will shine even more on the national/international arena.
As a note, make sure that you first connect to eduroam at UII before connecting to other campuses, usually if you have never connected at UII, there are often problems when connecting to other campuses.
