FK UII Holds UKMPPD Tryout for Doctor Candidates

Yogyakarta (20/05) – National Competency Test for Doctor Profession Program Students (UKMPPD) by the Director General of Higher Education Ministry of Education and Culture which will be held on Saturday (23/05) consists of two stages, namely theory with the CBT pattern (Computer Based Test) and OSCE ( Objective Structure Clinical Examination). There is a CBT and OSCE Competency Test that tests objectively and comprehensively both knowledge, skills, and professionalism. This is an implementation of a competency-based curriculum implemented by FK UII since 2005.

 

Tryout CBT UKMPPD at FK UII

In order to prepare its students for UKMPPD, especially the CBT competency test, the Faculty of Medicine of UII participates in preparing for the graduation of prospective FK UII doctors through various series of activities. The series that was carried out included: guidance, expert lectures, tryouts, and discussion of questions with experts so that students would be better prepared to face the UKMPPD CBT exam this period. Today (20/05) FK UII held its sixth UKMPPD Tryout which was attended by 154 participants at the Computer Laboratory of FK UII. This tryout is the last tryout of several series of activities that have been carried out, to finalize the readiness of the participants who will take the real exam.

The opening of the 6th UKMPPD tryout was welcomed by dr. Muhammad Tri Saksono Darmawan, Sp.A. "Your goal now is not only to pass UKMPPD, but where to go after graduation," emphasized dr. Darmawan. He also advised that after graduation, examinees could still continue their studies to earn a specialist degree.

The series of activities after activities have continued until the last series of activities, namely the closing of the joint prayer which will be held on Thursday (24/05) tomorrow.
