[:en]Four UII Students make a Research Presentation in Seoul, South Korea

Kaliurang (UII News) – Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) continues to support the academic activities of its students at all times Go international. From there, UII students had the opportunity to take part in international academic forums.

This was conveyed by Galvin Giffari, a 2013 class of Medicine student along with three other friends, including Faisal Ridho S (FK, 2013), Rosnalia Widya (FMIPA, 2013), Rizaldi Saeful (FIAI, 2014) after attending the 9th Conference of Indonesian Student Association in Korea (CISAK) which was held on 1-2 Dzulhijah 1437 H / 3-4 September 2016 in Seoul, South Korea.

According to Galvin, this conference is a prestigious international conference because it is held every year. This can be seen from the interest and number of participants who took part in this event.

"This year, this conference carries the theme "Encouraging Knowledge Collaboration For National Resilience Toward ASEAN Economic Community"which was attended by all universities in Indonesia, by presenting senior speakers from both Indonesia and Korea," he said.

The 2013 FK UII student further explained that at the end of the conference, some of the participants were given awards in both the best oral presentation and poster categories, as well as the best work.  

        

Finally, Galvin and his friends expressed their gratitude for the assistance for departure. "We thank the universities, faculties and study programs as well as those who have helped to be able to present our research results. Hopefully in the future more and more delegations from UII will be able to take part in this event and gain knowledge and experience which will later be shared with UII friends," he pleaded.
