Always Consume Halal, Healthy and Nutritious Food

As a Muslim it is imperative for us to consume halal food according to Islam and also halal drinks in Islam. God's word inside

(QS. Al-Baqarah: 168):

"O people! Eat from (food) that is lawful and good that is in the earth and do not follow the steps of the devil. Indeed, Satan is a real enemy for you."

In the BMJ Study, Sugar can cause addiction and mood swings. Excessive consumption can also cause Diabetes Risk. So it is advisable to break the fast and dawn with foods that are high in protein and low in carbohydrates.

One that fits the criteria above is the Ketogenic Diet. Low Glucose but high in protein and fiber. The Messenger of Allah also often gave examples of consuming wheat (not simple sugar), red meat (low fat portion) and food (fruit) and drinks (infused water / soaking dates) high in fiber.

Qs. Al-Mu'minun (23): 51

يَا أَيُّهَا الرُّسُلُ كُلُوا مِنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَاعْمَلُوا صَالِحًا ۖ إِنِّي بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَل ِيمٌ

"O Apostles! Eat of good food, and do good. Verily, I am All-Knowing of what people do.

Set Portions, Don't Eat and Drink Excessively

Overeating makes us lose control of controlling our appetites, and we can be sure that our weight will increase. Therefore in Islam it is recommended that we eat before we are hungry and stop before we are full.

QS. : Al-A'raf: 31

"O son of Adam, wear your beautiful clothes in every (entering) the mosque, eat and drink, and do not overdo it. Verily, Allah does not like those who are extravagant."

And in a hadith Rasulullah SAW. said:

Adam's children and grandchildren will not fill a worse container than his stomach. Actually a few mouthfuls were enough to straighten his ribs. If he has to fill it, then one third for food, one third for breathing, and one third for breathing.” (Narrated by At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Muslim)

Do enough physical activity

In addition to maintaining our diet, we must also pay attention to our physical activity. Increased physical activity can improve metabolism and strengthen our bodies so that the diet process can run faster.

Besides that, Islam also teaches us to always do sports so that we are not lazy and also healthy, the Prophet also said: "Strong believers are better and more loved by Allah, than weak believers." It was also in this context that the Holy Prophet allowed Abesenia people to play the spear in the glorious Prophet's Mosque. The Prophet also allowed Aisyah, His Majesty's wife, to see them (HR Muttafaq 'Alaih).

The sports recommended by Islam are swimming, horse riding or archery.

Exercise can also improve mood so that activities can be more enthusiastic and of course maintain mental health

"Verily traveling and recreation of my people is jihad in the way of Allah." (Reported by Abu Dawud, Hakim, Baihaqi and at-Thabrani
