Center for Medical Islamic Activities

The Center for Medical Islamic Activities (CMIA) is a faculty da'wah institution (LDF) within FK UII which functions as a center for Islamic activities, especially those related to medical science. CMIA was inaugurated in February 2005. Like the TBMM FK UII, CMIA also has a direct consultative line to the Head of LEM FK UII.

CMIA is based on Islam, based on the Qur'an and As Sunnah.

 
CMIA VISION and MISSION
CMIA's vision is CMIA as a forum to form medical Muslim intellectuals who have Islamic characteristics towards an Islamic FK campus community. Meanwhile, CMIA's mission includes:
1. Fostering FK UII Muslim students so that they have the integrity of Islamic and scientific character based on the Qur'an and As Sunnah.
2. Creating CMIA FK UII as an organization dedicated to Islamic development in the field of medicine.
3. Strengthen and expand networks and collaboration with existing elements, both medical and non-medical.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
CMIA's highest sovereignty resides with CMIA members in the CMIA General Meeting forum. The CMIA organizational structure consists of:
General Meeting
The General Meeting of CMIA members, hereinafter abbreviated as MUBES. CMIA members are the highest authority.
Organizational Advisory Board (DPO)
The Organizational Advisory Council, hereinafter abbreviated as DPO, is the organizational supervisor.
Organizational Advisory Council (MPO)
The Organizational Advisory Council, hereinafter abbreviated as MPO, is an organizational consulting and supervisory body.
Daily Manager (PH)
The CMIA Daily Management is the highest leadership holder.
CMIA member
CMIA members consist of full members, non-full members and cadres. Meanwhile, CMIA administrators are every FK UII student who is bound by obligations as an administrator and is willing to fulfill the requirements.

CMIA ACTIVITIES
Various activities carried out by CMIA in implementing its vision and mission include:
1. Ramadan on Campus, including: free health check-up and medication social services, breaking the fast together, angpao tree, Islamic book bazaar
2. Religious studies
3. Discussion and dissection of medical films
4. Membership and sending of delegations to the Indonesian FULDFK National Conference
5. Regeneration
6. And others
