PREPARING FOR OSCENAS, FK UII HOLDS OSCE TRAINING
FK UII OSCE exam simulation
Kaliurang (23/10)- Objectives Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) is a competency test for students of medical professional programs in Indonesia. In OSCE, students are tested with the same/equivalent materials and methods, and their clinical skills abilities/performance are assessed. In implementing OSCE, examiners and Standard Patient Trainers (PPS) are mandatory components, and to be able to become examiners and PPS you must take part in training and obtain a certificate as an examiner or PPS from the National Committee for Student Competency Tests for the Medical Professional Program (PNUKMPPD).
In order to strengthen the OSCE component within the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia (FK UII), on Sunday, October 22 2023, "Training of Examiners and Trainers for OSCE Competency Examination Standards 2023" was held at the FK UII Auditorium, UII Integrated Campus.
The 2023 OSCE examiner and PPS training was attended by 30 people as examiners and 8 people as PPS who were doctors from FK UII, UII Hospital, Dr. RSUD. Soedono Madiun, RSUD dr. Soehadi Prijonegoro Sragen, RSUD dr. Soeroto Ngawi, RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri, RSUD Wonosari, RSI Yogyakarta PDHI, and FK Unisula.

Dean of FK UII, Dr. Dr. Isnatin Miladiyah, M.Kes, in her speech expressed her deepest gratitude and appreciation to the clinical teaching doctors at the hospital who had agreed to be mentors for students of the Medical Profession study program at the Teaching Hospital.
“As a lecturer, your job is not only to guide but also to do it assessment or the downstream assessment at the professional stage is testing at the OSCE. The National OSCE is currently still an exit exam, in the future it may not only be UKMPPD, but there will be other assessments. "Therefore, now you will take part in training on how to test, and will get a certificate which will become a license to be able to test," said Dr. Isnatin.

The training for examiners and PPS in 2023 then continued with the presentation of material by two resource persons, Dr. Dian Apriliana Rahmawatie, M.Med.Ed from Unissula Semarang and Dr. Dr. Fen Tih, M. Kes. from Maranatha Christian University Bandung by presenting materials namely: OSCE as a Student Competency Test for the Medical Professional Program, Blueprint and Template for UKMPPD OSCE Questions, Becoming a UKMPPD OSCE Examiner, Standard Setting for UKPMMD OSCE, Becoming an OSCE PS Trainer, PS Training Principles, PS Management, and Simulations Implementation of the OSCE Exam.
