Sleman (UII) – Sunday, November 17 2019, Faculty of Medicine students Universitas Islam Indonesia (FK UII) which is incorporated in volunteer activities of foster siblings (Kadiksuh) visiting the Daarus Selamat Orphanage in Turgo, Purwobinangun, Kec. Pakem, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Kadiksuh is one of the work programs of the UII FK Student Executive Organization which is engaged in community service.

The hot weather on the slopes of Merapi that afternoon did not prevent the Kadiksuh Team from inviting the residents of the orphanage to play game while studying together. From elementary to junior high school students, all seemed enthusiastic to discuss, ask questions, and work on the questions that had been provided by the committee. In addition, the participants also received health education regarding several skin diseases that are often found in the dormitory environment, such as scabies (scabies) and PVC (phlegm). On that occasion the volunteer delivered simple but effective prevention tips, such as drying towels after use, changing bed sheets, and bathing at least 2 times a day. It's very exciting, and certainly very fun to be useful for many people. Syifa
