Kaliurang (UII News-13/10) – Competency tests for students of the Medical Education Study Program (PSPD) who used to only use Computer Based Tests (CBT) or Paper Base Tests (PBT) now use CBT and OSCE as the basis for graduation to be sworn in as a doctor , so there is a need for assistance for students who will take the Medical Education Program Student Competency Test (UKMMP).

This was conveyed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Tanjung Pura University, dr. Arif Wicaksono, M.Biomed (2001 FK UII alumni) during a meeting with the Dean and UKMPPD Team of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia, on Friday, 16 October 2015 / 3 Muharram 1437 H in the Meeting Room of the Dean of FK UII, Jl. Kaliurang Km. 14,5 Sleman Yogyakarta.

According to doctor Arif, in order to be successful in delivering medical students to pass the Competency Test, what must be done is assistance from the institution.

At FK UNTAN itself, students are required to take part in try outs in the form of PBT / CBT with the achievement of the correct score having to adjust to the National Pass Limit, while for OSCE it follows the National setting standard.

"Students must pass the FK UNTAN local tryout with predetermined standards, after meeting the standards then they are allowed to take the Medical Education Program Student Competency Test," said doctor Arif.

So that with the local TO, students will make preparations to achieve a standard score and be able to take part in UKMPPD.

“The preparation recommended for students is bself study, bstudy in groups, Study with close friend, Teman one discussion group, Teman is a group of clerks, friends who live nearby, Teman between one area, Teman senior and junior, mTake UK tutoring in another city, mtake part in Try Out UK in another city”, said the strategy carried out at FK UNTAN, said doctor Arif.
