Medicine – dr. Faisal Ridho Sakti, UII Medicine alumnus, with GIVE (Global Islamic Volunteering and Expedition Society) carried out community service activities for Muslims in Cambodia together with several UII students, including Indira Azzahra (FK 2017), Ratu Fitriah (Psychology, 2018), Taskya An Nisrina (Psychology, 2019).

This activity is motivated by the condition that adherents of Islam in Cambodia with a total of 236.000 adherents are a minority group, this is what makes their fate still unlucky, some of them have to live in boats that stop by the river banks. Low economic conditions and poor sanitation make their lives less decent.

by dr. Faisal explained further that the activity which lasted for 5 days provided a lot of experience and learning, especially as an Islamic campus student, and it is hoped that more UII students will be involved in the service agenda as well as Islamic da'wah both locally and abroad, for the realization of ulil albab people .

"While in Cambodia, Cambodian Muslims are taught simple ways to be able to wash their hands and brush their teeth properly. In addition, the team also teaches tahsin and call to prayer to children. The activity was closed by distributing groceries to the community, said dr. Faisal Ridlo Sakti. Wibowo
