Ust. Imam Moedjiyono: Dokar FK UII Must Have a Positive Self-Concept

Magelang (UII News-7/11) – If a leader, an employee who is part of the academic community of the Faculty of Medicine, UII has a soul that cannot stand criticism, is a fanatical self-opinion who is logically wrong, likes to complain, criticize, and belittles others then that is in him is a negative self-concept.

        This was conveyed by Ust. Drs. Imam Moedjiyono, M.Ag giving a character building which was attended by Faculty of Medicine Lecturers and Educational Staff Universitas Islam Indonesia which was held in the hall of Hotel Trio Magelang, Saturday, 07 November 2015 / 25 Muharrom 1436 H.

        According to Ustadz Imam Moedjiyono, in addition to the things mentioned above, people who have a negative self-concept will make themselves people who do not want to respect other people and are pessimistic in various ways.

        "Another characteristic of a person who has a negative self-concept will make him a person who is unable to appreciate the strengths of other people and has a pessimistic spirit in various aspects," he said when giving motivation.

        Furthermore, Usadz, who is fondly called Mr. Oon, invites all lecturers and staff of FK UII to leave negative self-concepts and throw them away after the character building activities are finished, what must be instilled is a positive self-concept even in a negative situation and environment in order to achieve the progress of the Faculty of Medicine UII.

        "A positive self-concept for leaders, lecturers and staff of FK UII is by continuously honing the ability to solve problems, and being able to see one's shortcomings and trying to improve them, and being able to perform in various tasks by maintaining positive behavior even in a negative environment," said the lecture as well as the tausyiah delivered by Ustadz Drs. Imam Moedjiyono, M.Ag for lecturers and staff of FK UII who took part in the 2015 oudbond and rafting events. Wibowo/Tri
