Guidance Unit & Counseling

PSPD FM UII also has a Guidance and Counseling Unit (UBK) which aims to assist students in facing problems during their time as students. This unit has 1 psychiatrist, 1 psychologist, 1 education expert and 1 religion expert. The purpose of this unit is to assist students in developing themselves optimally in personal, social, spiritual and academic aspects.

Specifically, UBK provides assistance for students who face academic and psychological problems. Types of UBK services include counseling, personal/social, academic and religious. Students can come directly to UBK on their own initiative or recommendations from DPA tutors or instructors, who communicate intensely with students in every learning process. In addition to providing guidance to the student concerned, UBK also provides input to the student's DPA if it turns out that the student has academic problems.

Students can also carry out consultations with psychology in the Counseling guidance unit provided by the university. Students can freely request a meeting with a psychologist by first registering via the web kemahasiswaan.uii.ac.id .
