LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE ASKESKIN PROGRAM IN VILLAGE HEADS IN SLEMAN DISTRICT

Changes in life are marked by rapid environmental changes with advances in information technology that demand sensitivity in responding to changes that occur in order to exist in a global competitive life. With increasing levels of education, social status, community economy and developments in science and technology, changes in disease patterns, and public awareness of the importance of health, village heads are always required to have initiative in providing services according to what the community wants. Increased public awareness of healthy living has the impact of increasing the number of health services faced in the health service business and increasing competition. In an effort to prevent a decrease in the utilization of health services, the village head must use knowledge management to increase his knowledge about the quality of the existing ASKESKIN program services. The current application of knowledge at the head of the village is still a simple application, namely knowledge is only used to facilitate the distribution of information, only in the scope of tasks and work, increasing public knowledge of health, managing knowledge of changes in the community's environment, supporting in decision making, information on the development of disease patterns, sharing
knowledge or support in health service innovation. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge about the ASKESKIN program among village heads in Sleman Regency. This research is a semi-quantitative research with a descriptive approach and was carried out using a cross-sectional method (survey).
