FK UII Student Medical Assistance Team (TBMM) Organizes Survival and Navigation

Kaliurang (UII News) – In order to create a generation of FK UII students who have knowledge of survival and land navigation and have a sense of care and brotherhood who are members of the TBMM HUMERUS FK UII family, a Survival Traininf and Land Navigation in The Development Creativity of The Humerus was held. Family 2014 (RENAL 2014).

This was conveyed by the chairman of TBMM HUMERUS FK UII, Firman Mufatichul Ichwan, in the RENAL 2014 which was held on Friday-Sunday, 28 – 30 Muharam 1436 H coinciding with 21-23 November 2014 in Wonogondang, Cangkringan Village , Kalikuning District, Sleman Regency, DIY which was attended by approximately 60 members of TBMM Humerus FK UII.

According to Firman, this activity needs to be held with the hope that the members of TBMM HUMERUS FK UII can have a great sense of ownership and make a real contribution to the future development of TBMM.

"With this event there are great hopes that there will be closer brotherhood that will emerge between fellow TBMM HUMERUS FK UII generations, and can increase knowledge and foster a sense of care in medical students according to their character as FK UII students," said Firman.

In line with the Head of TBMM Humerus FK UII, Mufti Firajullah added that this activity consisted of lectures, training, night excursions, outbound, art performances and sharing. The material provided is material about survival and land navigation.

"For land navigation, this material is given with the aim of providing basic knowledge about land navigation science, while survival is given to provide basic knowledge about survival techniques in the wild," said the Mufti.

He added that besides these materials, this activity essentially combines the concept of increasing Ukhuwah Islamiyah (brotherhood) which can later increase unity and solidarity among fellow generations assisted by the application of the makrab component itself, namely, ta'aruf which means getting to know each other, understanding which means mutual understanding, ta'awun which means helping each other, and contemplation which means working together.
