Touched, After Oath, New Doctor of FK UII Sings Mother's Song

Sleman (UII News):The song entitled "Bunda" which was popularized by Melly Goeslaw was sung by dr. MA Jussri Widjaya Tianotak from North Maluku, student of FK UII class of 2008 after the inauguration of the Doctor's Oath of FK UII period XXVII which was held in the auditorium Lt. 5 Yogyakarta JIH Hospital, on Thursday, January 15 2015 coinciding with 24 Rabiul Awal 1436 H, all the invited guests were moved and some asked for tissues to dry the tears dripping down their cheeks.

             According to Jussri, this song was indeed on the agenda by the prospective doctors for this period, where there had never been an inauguration before.              In his remarks, UII Chancellor Dr. Ir. Harsoyo, M.Sc advised the new FK UII doctors to always remember that the education process for new UII doctors does not end with taking this oath, but will continue indefinitely.

             Alumni are always required to continue to develop their competence and professionalism so that service to the community can continue to develop in a better direction and the dedication of UII alumni to the community will be more real, he said.

             Meanwhile in giving his speech, the Dean of FK UII, dr. Linda Rosita, M.Kes., Sp.PK explained that today, January 15 2015, we have inaugurated and took the 27th oath of 44 new doctors, consisting of 18 male doctors and 26 female doctors. "Alhamdulillah, until now FK UII has graduated 834 doctors, who have taken part as civil servants, lecturers, private practice doctors, owners of hospitals and clinics and many are still pursuing further studies either at the master or specialist level," he explained.

             We love UII graduate doctors, the challenge for doctors in the future will be even greater, especially since the closest January 2015 is the 2015 ASEAN free market.
