FK UII Public Hearing 2012

Public Hearing is one way to capture aspirations, input and information from students. For this reason, on January 12, 2012, the Department of Strategic Studies, Student Executive Organization, Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia held a 2012 Public Hearing event which took place in the FPSB Auditorium to discuss "Policies in FK UII". The purpose of the Public Hearing is not only to accommodate student aspirations and convey transparency as well as rationalization of various policies in FK UII, but a friendly activity between the Dean and students.

The second Public Hearing was attended by dr. Isnatin Miladiyah, M.Kes as Dean of FK UII, dr. Point Kuntari, M.Kes as Deputy Dean of FK UII, dr. Erlina Marfianti, Sp. PD as the Secretary of the FK UII Study Program, Student Representative Council and Chair of the Student Executive Body takes place from 13.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB. The event, which was divided into 2 sessions, raised several issues that were hotly discussed in the faculty, such as the 2009 KKN activities which had problems, developments in the construction of a Teaching Hospital, clarity on the procurement of a Specialty Laboratory for the Faculty of Medicine, Remediation at the end of semester 7, transparency of student finances and evaluation of facility improvements. faculties to support preparation for 2012 accreditation.

Enthusiasm that is good enough from students to fight for their every aspiration is evidenced by the presence of representatives of all students from each class, Co-Ass representatives and institutional members to speak out directly about what problems have been experienced so far and convey some real solutions openly, so that there is harmony between the dean and students.

Some of the results obtained related to the problems submitted are confirmation of the KKN schedule which will still be adjusted to the academic schedule and learning system of the medical faculty so that it is not burdensome to students, the participation of student representatives in direct visits to the location of the Teaching Hospital, changes to the location of the Specialty Laboratory procurement at the latest in February 2012, there will be remediation at the end of semester 7 which will be carried out after the final block is completed, transparency of student funds which will be designed by the institution itself for the next 1 year and various evaluations of learning facilities and systems which will be jointly repaired by the entire FK UII academic community.

Of all the rationalizations of the problems, it is sufficient to provide an overview of each statement questioned by students, although there are still a number of problems that still require clear answers and actions from the dean which will be followed up 2 weeks after this public hearing. So it is hoped that with this activity, there will not be a lot of miscommunication, floating information and unclear policy rationalizations because as a university that adheres to Student Government all campus activities are carried out from students, by students and for students. Hopefully in the future public hearings can be held regularly so that good friendships and clear transparency from the campus can be established. Student Life!!!
