FKUII Mentoring Opening

FK UII, @ Mentoring as a process of assisting students to form students with character and commitment to Islamic values must be maintained and their quality improved at FK UII. This was conveyed by the deputy dean of FK UII in his remarks during the odd semester mentoring debriefing at FK UII. In addition, the deputy dean of FK UII also stressed the importance of mentoring activities in achieving UII's 7 advantages according to the 2015-2018 strategic plan. The advantages in question are specifically Islamic excellence, Islamic ethos and student character.

In this mentoring debriefing, material was provided by KH Ridwan Hamidi Lc with the theme The Importance of Learning Religion. In his presentation, Ustad Hamidi emphasized the importance of studying religion in every aspect of worship that we want to do and every aspect of muamalah that we want to do. The Prophet's hadith states that if Allah wills good for a servant then Allah will give understanding in religious matters. Therefore it is very fortunate for the students and lecturers and employees who were selected to become mentors for Islamic religious assistance.

Mentoring team leader dr. Fadhli in his introduction said that the target of mentoring from October to December is to foster a love of the Qur'an and help students memorize short surahs juz 30 and strengthen the spirit of religious charity. The mentoring event itself will be officially opened at the same time with the new hijriyah year 1436 at the ulil albab mosque. Hopefully the mentoring can run smoothly and become a tausiah event for the FK UI extended family
